Government gazette for today declaring Monday 26th June as a public holiday.

The government has declared Monday 26th June as a public holiday to mark the end of month long Muslim fasting. The day was today gazette for the idd-ul-fitr celebrations to mark the end of Ramadhan. Idd-ul-fitr begins in the evening of Sunday the 25th June and continues till Monday.

This also marks the end of fasting and holiest month in the Muslim year. The Muslims prepare themselves for this day in eager and buy new clothes to be celebrate. This holiday is celebrated by all Muslims across the globe. Ramadhan began 26thmay and ends on 24th June
