Under the NASA coalition arrangement announced today at the Uhuru Park, Nairobi, Mr Mudavadi will take the position of Premier Cabinet Secretary and will have two deputies, one responsible for Devolution and Planning and the other for Public Service.

The posts will go respectively to Chama Cha Mashinani led by Bomet governor Isaac Ruto and Ford-Kenya led by Moses Wetangula. The agrement also provides for the president to make senior level decisions only after consultation with the NASA principals.
