Nakuru boy, 15, turns himself to police after killing 4-year-old

Bahati OCPD Edward Masibo said that police have begun investigations into the matter. He said that another boy aged 13 years was cut on the shoulder as he attempted to flee. He was rushed to Nakuru Level Five Hospital where he is undergoing treatment.

A four year old boy was today murdered by a 15 year old Form One student following disagreement over sugarcane in Kwa Amos village, Bahati Nakuru County. The assailant, Master Peter Mbugua Kungu, later presented him to Bahati Divisional police headquarters after the incident.

Bahati OCPD Edward Masibo said that police have begun investigations into the matter. He said that another boy aged 13 years was cut on the shoulder as he attempted to flee. He was rushed to Nakuru Level Five Hospital where he is undergoing treatment.

The police boss said that Mbugua used a kitchen knife to kill the 4 year old boy by slitting his neck before burying his body with dry leaves. He said that the suspect will be arraigned in court tomorrow. Police took the body to Nakuru County Government Mortuary while the suspect is being locked up at Bahati Police Station.
