Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) is partnering with Kitui County Government to achieve the ACK’s Decade Strategy, which seeks to strengthen and reaffirm the role of the Church in influencing the society.
Archbishop Jackson Ole Sapit, the head of ACK today paid a courtesy call to Kitui Governor Mama Charity Ngilu and discussed the modalities of working jointly for the success of the 10 year plan.
They discussed on how the Church can partner with Kitui County Government to achieve the ACKs Decade Strategy, which seeks to strengthen and reaffirm the role of the church in influencing the society.
The Decade Strategy further aims to achieve a determination where communities of faith live a fulfilled lives.
Archbishop Sapit, who was flanked by Kitui Bishop Rt Rev Josephat Mule, prayed for the new partnership between the Kitui County government and the ACK to jointly implement the ACK Decade Strategy.
“We are happy that the County government of Kitui is ready to work with us as we implement the ACK Decade Strategy”, said the archbishop.
