Mr Kala, obviously pleased with the decision, said he is ready to serve the people of Machakos to the maximum level unlike the other leaders who had nothing to offer for the residents of Machakos County. His speech has been seen to have targeted Mr Muthama although he did not quote him directly.

Jackson Musyoka Kala after being issued shows his certificate of nomination in a media briefing.

Former Machakos MP aspirant Jackson Musyoka Kala will be running Wiper Party's ticket for the Machakos senate. This comes only few days after the incumbent senator Johnstone Muthama Nduya declared that he will not seek to be re-elected for that post despite the fact that he got a direct Wiper ticket.

Mr Muthama reached his decision after his political friend who is also deputy governor for Machakos Bernard Kiala lost in Wiper primaries. The Wiper leadership says it reached the decision of issuing Mr Kala with the ticket after consultations.

Mr Kala, obviously pleased with the decision, said he is ready to serve the people of Machakos to the maximum level unlike the other leaders who had nothing to offer for the residents of Machakos County. His speech has been seen to have targeted Mr Muthama although he did not quote him directly.

Mr Kala initially was vying for the Machakos town MP post on the Wiper ticket but lost to former MP Arbanus Mutisya after wrangles that ended in the Parties Tribunal and court.
