Two supects are being held at Kikambuani police post in Kangundo after being found in possession of fake ballot papers for the Kangundo North Ward Wiper nominations. The two, John Musila (the Returning Officer at the Kikambuani Primary School) and Veronica Mutiso (a clerk) were found with ballot papers marked for the sitting MCA Francis Matheka.

The  two were whisked away from angry crowds by police after the residents wanted to beat them up. The residents have called on the Wiper party to cancel the results of the entire process and start afresh saying that the process was marred with malpractices. "We are not accepting the results for the Wiper nominations here, they were full of dishonesty, the party should start the process afresh," said the voters.
