Matungulu MP Stephen Mule has said that the constituency will receive two police posts to address the insecurity wave in the area. Mr Mule, who was speaking at Katangini to commission a dispensary on Monday, said he had set aside Sh3 million from the constituency fund to construct police posts at Kyeleni and Nguluni areas.

He said that through the CDF, he will spend Sh4 million to buy land for the expansion of the Tala Police Post while the national government will contribute Sh40 million to fund the project.

Mr Mule also urged the residents support the "nyumba kumi" initiative and community policing so as to boost security in the constituency. He awarded a cheque of Sh1.2 million to Katangini Primary School for development purposes.
