Raila promises to push county government allocation from 15 to 45 per cent

NASA presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga has promised to raise money allocated to county governments from 15 to 45 per cent should NASA win in August. Mr Odinga who speaking at Kakuyuni market in Kangundo said that there is need to allocate county governments enough money so that they can work effectively.

He was accompanied by Machakos gubernatorial aspirant Wavinya Ndeti, Makueni Senator Mutual Kilonzo Jr, Machakos aspiring senator on Wiper ticket Jackson Kala, Kibra MP Ken Okoth, Suna East MP Junet Mohammed, Matungulu MP Stephen Mule, Kangundo MP Katatha Maweu, Kangundo MP aspirant Lawyer Fabian Muli.

"Once I assume power in August I will ensure that I will increase county allocation from 15 to 45 per cent so that  they can work effectively and so that common mwananchi can be served well," said Mr Odinga.

Mr Odinga further called on the people of Ukambani to show up in large numbers so as to to kick out Jubilee from power.

"I am appealing to all people to come out  in large numbers on voting day so that we kick out Jubilee from power," he added.

Suna East MP Junnet Mohammed dared the Jubilee government to go ahead and steal the if they are men enough saying that they are aware.

"We are aware that they want to steal our votes but we are daring them to do so if they are men enough, we are not asleep," said Junnet.
