Esther Passaris fights for Nairobi women rep in a unique style

Nairobi Women Representative aspirant Esther Passaris has launched a new strategy using a raffle to have voters participate and win gifts as they raise funds to finance her campaigns. The game plan is to donate from Sh100 and above towards her campaign kitty and one gets a number which is identified as a winner when the raffle is conducted.

To participate those willing to support her campaigns donate through Mpesa pay bill number 759494 and when the raffle is conducted winners go home with a motor bikes or bicycles among other gifts.

Speaking during the event, Ms Passaris who is vying on an ODM ticket said she decided to create a raffle while raising money to finance her campaigns as a sure way of having a wide range of participants with hope of becoming the lucky winners of the gifts.

“This is a participatory exercise and my aim is to have Nairobi County voters assist me to finance my campaigns through a raffle. This will ensure lucky winners will also benefit” said Passaris, who is facing the incumbent Rachel Shebesh of Jubilee Party, among other candidates.

Ms Passaris who was accompanied by ODM Senatorial candidate for Nairobi County, Mr Edwin Sifuna expressed confidence that she would win the seat come August 8 polls.
