Alexis Sanchez celebrates scoring a goal

The gunner’s forward, who’s the Chilean international has been the flavor of the month, particularly in the world transfer rumors. With now one year left on his contract, the brilliant Arsenal forward has attracted many elite clubs in Europe like Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Man city.

Despite the concerted effort exerted by Arsenal FC to make sure that the ‘super’ player extends his stay at the Emirates, the former Barcelona player had been stubbornly reluctant to cede to Arsenal’s improved terms.

The Frenchman, Arsene Wenger who has been at the helm of the club’s coaching position for two decades or so has been glaringly opposed to any move that could see the Chilean join the rival clubs in England-for obvious reasons.

According to Fox sports, the Chilean international has agreed to join Manchester City which remains one of the Arsenal’s major premier league rival. The move is anticipated to happen this summer.

But, what is overwhelmingly intriguing is the fact that Alexis Sanchez turned down Bayern Munich’s very lucrative offer of 480,000 pounds per week, undoubtedly making him one of their highest paid players, as reported by the The Kicker. This whopping amount would overshadow Robert Lewandoski’s weekly wage of 288,000 pounds.
