Harambee Stars' international friendly match against DR Congo has been moved from Moi Sports Centre Kasarani to Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos. Also moved in the same manner is the match against Uganda, according to Football Kenya Federation.

The move has been necessitated by ongoing renovations at both Nyayo National Stadium and Kasarani, the two biggest stadia in the country. The team initially set to camp at the Kasarani ahead of the two fixtures slated for Thursday, March 23 and Sunday, March 26, but will now camp in Machakos.

Stars take on Uganda on Thursday before locking horns with DRC Congo on Sunday March 26. Tickets for the matches will be sold at the venue, on match day and will go for Ksh 100 terrace and Ksh 300 VIP. Both matches will kick off at 3 pm Kenyan time with gates opening at 11 am.

Uganda and DRC Congo are expected in the country on Monday, March 20, 2017. The two friendlies are in preparation for the upcoming 2019 AFCON qualifiers against Sierra Leone set for June.
