Stars line up friendlies against DR Congo, Uganda

Due to the ongoing renovation works at Kasarani Stadium, the matches have tentatively been moved to Nyayo Stadium for convenience, Football Kenya Federation said Wednesday.

Tottenham Hotspurs attacking midfielder Victor Wanyama, a regular feature in Harambee Stars, is the Stars captain.

The Kenya senior national football team, Harambee Stars, will face Uganda and DR Congo on March 22 and March 26 respectively, in Nairobi in friendly matches.

However, due to the ongoing renovation works at Kasarani Stadium, the matches have tentatively been moved to Nyayo Stadium for convenience, Football Kenya Federation said Wednesday.

The two friendlies are in preparation for the 2019 AFCON qualifiers, away to Sierra Leone scheduled to be played in June this year.
