Villagers impressed by man’s creativity in electronics

Mr Ngugi said that his ambition is to put up his own radio station which will not only be a station but also a source of employment to many. This will create more opportunities for the jobless youth.

A young man has left many in his village impressed after coming up with a radio security gadget despite failing to advance in his formal education. Peter Ngugi was born in Ngungiri in Nakuru County. He did not proceed with his studies after sitting for his Kenya Certificate of Primary Education KCPE).

He later joined a polytechnic and through his passion in dealing with electronics and carpentry he started setting his mind in coming up with a radio station.

Meanwhile using electronic knowhow, Mr Ngugi has wired the gate to their home so that no one can dare get close otherwise he will be electrocuted. He has done this as a security measure.

He said he faced many sceptics who have questioned his mental stability. He said that some even opined that he was under the influence of drugs. The residents do not take him seriously.

His parents are happy and grateful to Almighty God for their son’s talent. Their approval is what keeps him pursuing his dream. This will not only help him personally but also the society will benefit as well. They will be grateful when their son will be where he dreamt of.

Mr Ngugi said that his ambition is to put up his own radio station which will not only be a station but also a source of employment to many. This will create more opportunities jobless youth.

His message to the youth is that they need to utilize their God-given talent and work hard without ceasing. He also urged the young people to keep fighting and wait since something good is worth the wait. He added that the youths should keep fighting and pray hard as they wait for their dreams come into reality.
