The Capital Markets Authority has launched a portal that will provide a one-stop shop for investors’ and public information needs. Whether you are an investor, investment banker, researcher, student, or just a member of the public seeking information about Kenya’s capital markets, the website will provide all you need.
The resource is available at the address www.cmarcp.or.ke. It is interactive and allows visitors to give the Authority their feedback or ask questions.
The key features of the Resource Center Portal include:
Ø Unique electronic collection of financial statements and accounts for all the listed companies in the Nairobi Securities Exchange dating from the 1990s to the present-day;
Ø Electronic collection of Information Memorandums and Prospectuses on various transactions approved by the Authority;
Ø Basic key Capital Markets data and Statistics;
Ø Guide to e-resources that the Authority subscribes to online;
Ø Provides an interface to accessing the Resource Centre collections through the Online Public Access Catalogue (Web OPAC);
Ø Provides a link for updating news and Publications on the Resource Centre;
Ø Provides an interface for engaging users through an email where users can give feedback;
Ø Provides quick links for ease of navigating the portal and ease of accessing information;
Ø Creates a platform to link the users with our partners who are also using such platforms to deliver information.
