Coca-Cola company launches ‘CHANGAMKIA MAMILLI NA COCA-COLA’ promotion

To participate, consumers must purchase 200ml, 300ml or 500ml returnable glass bottles of Coca-Cola, Fanta or Sprite and check under the yellow crowns for an eight-digit alphanumeric code. They will then send an SMS with the code to the short-code number 40111.

The Coca-Cola Company has unveiled a promotion dubbed ‘CHANGAMKIA MAMILLI NA COCA-COLA’ to reward loyal consumers. Each week for the next 12 weeks, one lucky customer will win Sh1 million in the ‘Under the Crown’ promotion that started today and will end August 22. In addition, there will be daily winners of cash from a minimum of Sh50 to Sh5,000 or 15 free SMSs and 15 MBs Safaricom Data bundles.

Speaking during the launch, Ms Lucy Oduor, marketing manager for Kenya, said, “As a brand, we hold our consumers with high esteem because they play an integral role to us as a business and we always seek to fulfill their needs by providing quality products. We are using a reward system to appreciate customers for their loyalty.”

The products that are part of this promotion include Coca-Cola, Fanta and Sprite drinks which will be identifiable by a yellow crown available at all local retail outlets countrywide. To participate, consumers must purchase 200ml, 300ml or 500ml returnable glass bottles of Coca-Cola, Fanta or Sprite and check under the yellow crowns for an eight-digit alphanumeric code. They will then send an SMS with the code to the short-code number 40111.

Consumers must be eighteen years and above, be registered users on Safaricom, Airtel, Orange or Yu mobile networks. Every week, draws for the weekly grand prize of Sh1 million will be conducted and winners contacted through the mobile phone number 0791087785.
